Today's update makes board cloning much more powerful in t0ggles. When you create a new board by cloning an existing one, you can now decide whether you want to bring over tasks and notes as well, not just statuses, projects, tags, and custom fields.
This is perfect when you want to reuse an existing setup with all its real work inside - or quickly create a clean copy without any active items.
#How It Works
When you go to Create Board → Clone Existing Board and pick a source board, you'll now see two options at the bottom of the preview:
- Include Tasks (N)
- Include Notes (N)
Each option shows the number of items that will be copied.
- Turn them on to clone the full board structure plus its tasks and notes.
- Turn them off to clone only the configuration: workflow statuses, projects, tags, custom fields, and other board settings.
Click Create Board and you're ready to go.
#Why It Matters
This small update unlocks a lot of flexibility:
- Repeatable client setups: Clone a "Web Studio" or "Agency" board with all tasks and notes to use as a working template for each new client.
- Sprint and cycle templates: Keep a "Sprint Template" board and clone it with tasks already inside, so you do not have to recreate your backlog every time.
- Clean copies for experiments: Turn off both options to spin up a fresh board with the same structure, but without any existing work.
Whether you want a complete duplicate or just the skeleton of a board, you are now in control.
