MCP Server: Comments And Project Updates

MCP comments and project updates

The t0ggles MCP server now supports comments and project updates. Ask your AI assistant to add comments to tasks, view discussion threads, or update project details without leaving your IDE.

#New Tools

  • list-comments - View all comments on a task or note with user emails and file attachments
  • create-comment - Add comments to tasks or notes, with optional reply-to for threaded discussions
  • update-project - Update project title, tags, links, or AI context (owner/admin only)

#What You Can Do

View and add comments:

  • "Show me the comments on task BACKEND-45"
  • "Add a comment to PROJ-123: 'Ready for review'"
  • "Reply to the last comment on the API design task"

Update project settings:

  • "Update the Backend project title to 'Backend API v2'"
  • "Add a 'Priority' tag to the Mobile project"
  • "Set the AI context for Frontend to 'React 19 with TypeScript'"

#Why This Matters

For teams using AI-powered development tools, context switching between your IDE and project management app breaks focus. With comment support in MCP, you can discuss tasks, leave code review notes, and respond to teammates directly from Cursor, Claude Code, or VS Code.

Project updates let you keep project metadata current as your codebase evolves. Update AI context when you refactor, add tags for new initiatives, or rename projects to match your repository structure.

#Getting Started

If you already have the t0ggles MCP server configured, the new tools are available immediately. Just ask your AI assistant to list comments or update a project.
