We're back online. And we brought presents.
Earlier this week, we announced a scheduled maintenance window for January 17. We promised it would be worth the wait. Now it's time to show you what we've been building.
This isn't a minor update. This is 10 major features landing at once - the kind of release that transforms what t0ggles can do for your team.
For the past several months, we've been working on a complete infrastructure overhaul. Our previous foundation, while it served us well during the early days, had become a bottleneck for the features you've been asking for.
That bottleneck is gone.
The new infrastructure is faster, more flexible, and removes the technical limitations that were holding us back. Features that would have taken months to build can now ship in weeks. Complex queries that used to slow down are now instant.
But we didn't want to just upgrade the plumbing and call it a day. We wanted to prove what this new foundation enables. So we built the features you've been requesting most - and shipped them all together.
Here's everything that's new in t0ggles today:

This is the big one. You can now define which tasks must finish before others can begin. Draw connections visually in the Gantt chart, or manage dependencies from any task's details panel.
Dependencies transform t0ggles from a task tracker into a serious project management system. See the critical path, identify blockers, and understand exactly how delays cascade through your project.

Real analytics are finally here. Click the chart icon in your board navigation to see:
Filter by date range, projects, and more. Export to CSV for custom analysis or PDF for stakeholder presentations.

One of our most requested features. Schedule notifications for any task or note:
Never let important follow-ups slip through the cracks again.
Release note · Task reminders docs · Note reminders docs

Get instant browser notifications when someone assigns you a task, mentions you in a comment, or updates work you care about. No more checking your email or refreshing the page.

When you're working in another tab, you'll hear a subtle sound and see the browser tab flash when new notifications arrive. The notification bell also animates to catch your attention.
Combined with push notifications, you now have complete notification coverage whether t0ggles is in focus or running in the background.

The History panel now includes a Show full history option. See every change made to a task or note:
Each entry shows the exact date, time, and who made the change. Complete transparency for team collaboration.
Release note · Task history docs · Note history docs

Board Automations now support due date triggers. Automatically take action before tasks are due or after they become overdue:
Proactive deadline management without the manual overhead.
Control exactly which projects each team member can see on a board. Set a member's role to Editor, then select which projects they should have access to.
Perfect for agencies sharing boards with clients, large teams with multiple workstreams, or contractors who need limited access.

Search just got a major upgrade. Quick Search now covers:
Find that specific detail buried in a description or a comment from weeks ago. Open Quick Search with Cmd/Ctrl + K and start typing.

When reviewing tasks from public submissions, you can now include a reason when declining. The submitter receives an email with your feedback, maintaining clear communication with your community.
These features aren't random additions. They work together to solve real project management challenges:
For agile teams: Dependencies surface blockers before they derail sprints. Burndown charts track velocity. Reminders keep standups focused on what matters.
For agencies: Project-specific access lets you share boards with clients safely. Reports give stakeholders the visibility they need. Full text search helps you find anything across client projects.
For remote teams: Push notifications and sound alerts ensure nobody misses updates across time zones. Change history creates accountability without micromanagement. Due date automations handle follow-ups automatically.
For project managers: Dependencies define the critical path. Reports show workload distribution and bottlenecks. Reminders and automations reduce the mental overhead of tracking every deadline.
The infrastructure work we completed this week isn't just about these 10 features. It's about what comes next.
We now have a foundation that lets us build faster and ship more frequently. Features that were previously complex are now straightforward. The requests sitting in our backlog are suddenly achievable.
If you have feature ideas, we'd love to hear them. Drop us a note at hello@t0ggles.com or submit a feature request.
Thank you for your patience during the maintenance window. Thank you for being part of the t0ggles community. And thank you for the feedback that shaped this release.
Here's to a great 2026.
