Reminders

The Reminders feature allows you to schedule notifications for yourself or team members about a specific note. Use reminders to follow up on documentation, notify stakeholders about updates, or ensure important notes get reviewed on time.

#Open Reminders

  1. Open the note you want to set a reminder for in the Notes view.
  2. Click the More button (three dots) in the top toolbar to open the context menu.
  3. Click Reminders in the menu. The badge shows the number of pending reminders for this note.

#View Existing Reminders

When you open the Reminders popover, you'll see a list of all pending reminders for this note:

  • Date and time when the reminder will be sent
  • Recipients who will receive the notification

If there are no reminders set, you'll see the message "No reminders set".

#Create a New Reminder

  1. Open the Reminders popover for the note.
  2. Click New Reminder in the top-right corner.
  3. Fill in the reminder details:
    • Recipients - Select one or more team members who should receive the reminder. By default, the current user is pre-selected.
    • Date - Choose the date when the reminder should be sent. Defaults to today (or tomorrow if it's late in the day).
    • Time - Select the hour when the reminder should be sent. Defaults to the next hour.
    • Message (optional) - Add a custom message to include with the reminder (up to 1000 characters).
    • Also send as comment - Check this option if you want the reminder message to also be posted as a comment on the note.
  4. Click Save Reminder to create the reminder.

You can click All Reminders to go back to the list of existing reminders without saving.

#Delete a Reminder

  1. Open the Reminders popover for the note.
  2. Find the reminder you want to delete in the list.
  3. Click the Delete button (trash icon) next to the reminder.

The reminder will be removed and no notification will be sent.

#How Reminders Work

  • Reminders are sent as notifications at the scheduled date and time.
  • All selected recipients will receive the notification.
  • If "Also send as comment" is enabled, the reminder message will appear in the note's comments section.
  • Only pending reminders are shown in the list. Once a reminder is sent, it's automatically removed.
  • Reminders cannot be set for archived boards.
