Formatting Menu

The Formatting Menu appears when you select any portion of text inside the task or note editor. It allows you to apply formatting, change text type, and use AI-powered tools.

#Basic Formatting Options

From the toolbar above the selection, you can:

• Bold - Emphasize text (B) (or Ctrl+B/Cmd+B).
• Underline - Draw attention with an underline (U) (or Ctrl+U/Cmd+U).
• Italic - Add emphasis or indicate titles (I) (or Ctrl+I/Cmd+I).
• Strikethrough - Mark text as removed or outdated (S with a line).
• Highlight - Add a background color to selected text.
• Inline Code - Format text as inline code (monospace styling).
• Insert Link - Add a hyperlink to the selected text.

#Format Menu

The Format dropdown lets you change the selected text into:

• Paragraph (default text)
• Heading 1 - Largest section title
• Heading 2 - Medium section title
• Heading 3 - Smaller section title
• Heading 4 - Smallest heading
• Bullet List - List with bullet points
• Numbered List - Ordered list with numbers
• Task List - Interactive checklist

#AI Menu

The AI button offers smart text tools:

• Improve writing
• Fix spelling & grammar
• Make shorter
• Make longer
• Change tone - Professional, Casual, Straightforward, Confident, Friendly
• Simplify language
• Summarize
• Translate
• Explain this
• Find action items
