Task Updates History

The Task Updates History feature in t0ggles allows you to easily track recent actions and updates made to tasks. This ensures transparency and provides quick insights into the task lifecycle and changes.

#Viewing Task Updates History

To view the updates history of a task:

1. Open Task Details: Click on the task card you wish to review.
2. Click History Icon located at the top-right corner in the task details view.

The Task Updates History dropdown will appear displaying the history of changes.

#Compact History (Default)

By default, the history shows a compact summary view with key milestones:

• Created: When the task was created and by whom
• Started: When the task was first moved to an "In Progress" status
• Done: When the task was marked as completed
• Last Updated: The most recent modification date and who made it

#Full History

Click Show full history at the top of the dropdown to see a detailed chronological list of every change made to the task, including:

• Status: Shows the previous and new status (e.g., "To Do" → "In Progress")
• Title: Shows when the task title was modified
• Description: Changes to the task description
• Tags: When tags are added or removed
• Priority: Priority level changes
• Assigned user: When the task is assigned or reassigned
• Dates and project: Start date, due date, and project changes
• Custom properties: Changes to any custom fields configured for the board

Each entry displays the exact date and time of the change along with the name of the person who made it.

Changes made by AI agents through the MCP server are attributed to the agent user that made them, with its name and robot avatar, so agent and human edits share one timeline. To review agent activity across a whole board, see Tracking What Your AI Agents Actually Did.

Note: Full change history data is collected starting January 17, 2026. Changes made before this date are not included in the history.

To switch back to the summary view, click Show compact history.
